Default What calls?

So I was wondering what calls everyone brings with them when they head out for the woods? I'm trying to see what everyones using and if I can get some ideas for this upcoming season. I've got the basic buck grunt and a rattle bag but thats about it. I've been wanting to get my hands on that new Primos Buck Roar!

Yea I think i'm going to go to my local walmart and pick up one of those cans. I think I saw them there before for 10 dollars.

I sparingly use a Flextone grunt call.
But I know GMMAT is always running around here talking about the wonders of the "Buck Growl"

I don't carry any calls. If I feel the need to make a call at a deer, I do it with my voice. But usually I don't do much calling anyway.

Archery season here is before the rut and the grunt tube only brings in the smaller ones mostly during this time. So I like using a lost deer call so it will bring in some attention and besides alot of folks use the grunt tube anyways..

I always use the True Talker it works every time , just by pressing a band with your finger you can mimick four diffrent calls from a fawn bleat , doe bleat , young buck and old buck.
A friend of mine gave me the " Buck Growl " last year , I used once and called in a young four point but the True Talker is my favroite.

I'd suggest you give that Buck Roar a try, you'll love it. Not only does the grunt sound incredibly realistic but the call doesn't sound "ducky" when it breaks over like the MAD Buck Growl does. Also, the addition of the Snort Wheeze on the Primos call makes it as versatile as any call you can find. I was very impressed with this calls performance in the woods last season!
