magnus broadhead help

ok, everybody else i've read says their magnus broadheads hit the same place as their field points. mine are hitting six inches low and right at twenty yards and farther off at thirty. im shooting a 70 lb pse rogue, 28.5 in draw with beman 340 arrows. not sure how fast the arrows are moving, shooting 125 grain stingers. any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong? thanks for any help.

My guess is that your bow isnt tuned. The ones i shotflew very good!
Just have your local proshop tune it or do it your self.

My first thought would be that your bow isn't tuned properly.

Not all broadheads will impact the same as fieldpoints, even from a well tuned bow; however, I've yet to find a tunedbow that didn't like the Stingers.

Are you shooting 125 graind field points as well?

yeah shooting the same grain broadhead. i'll get it to the proshop or retune it at home this week and see what happens. i'd agree that everyone i've read from or talked to says the stingers are a good head, which is why i decided to try them.

Dont give up on them, sometimes it could be your bow or some other factor... I have Muzzy 3 blade 100's and a bunch of Magnus stgers 2 blds 100's, both heads shoot exactly the same as my 100 gr FP's... The Magnus naturally get much more penetration, and fly a little bit quieter I have noticed, but if you cant make em work, by all means dont use them, buy serveral brands and try some out, see what works best in your bow/arrow combo.

Make sure nothing looks like it has moved (sights, rests, nocks, ect..)
I usually get my stuff set just right, and take a marker and mark on the sight, rest, ect.. to give you instant feedback if something has moved a little bit..Try this when you get it figured out, it will save you some hearburn later on down the road.

im pretty sure it's not the broadheads. with all the good press they get, and the experienced guys i know that use them, it's gotta be something i'm doing wrong. going to check tuning tonight, maybe something moved, got bumped or whatever. definately not ready to give up on them yet.

What kind of flecthing do you have on your arrows? Straight, helical, blazer, quickspin it does make a big difference.

fletching is four inch right offset. retuned my bow today, sure enough my rest had moved. was tearing high and left. got it good now gonna shoot broadheads again tommorrow. what kind of fletching would you reccomend?

What you've got for fletching is good. I prefer 2" Blazers with a 3 degree offset over 4" vanes though. 4" feathers are even better.

Some guys here like Quickspins, but I don't. I think they're too heavy and too much of a pain to work with in the fletching jig.
