Cables crossed on your Guardian?
 

Guardian owners, where are your cables crossed, above or below the cable rod? I was reading my manual and it says the cables should be crossed below the cable rod.

Mine are crossed above the cable rod. I tried switching them and my cables are rubbing, when I cross them below the rod.

I looked at pictures of guardians posted on here and I am seeing them both ways.

Will this hurt my bow? Do I need a aftermarket cable slide? The manual is for the 2007 Bowtech and I was wondering if the guardian was different.

My cables are crossed above the slide.

If you but your Guardian in a bow press and remove the cables from the cable slide........... then let the press back out a little..... just enough to taught up the cables, Now you will see how the cables want to lay naturaly..... that is how you will put them back in the cable slide, Every Guardian I have worked on or setup has had the Cables crossing above the Slide... that is the way they will naturaly cross.
