Blazer Vanes???
I am considering Blazer vanes for my Maxima Express Hunter arrows. I want to ensure I have enough clearance on my bow. I can only find the length [2"] and weight [5 gr.]. I need to know how tall they are to see if they will work for me. Does anyone know EXACTLY how tall they are???
Thanks... |
RE: Blazer Vanes???
If Im not mistaken they are .6 inches tall.

RE: Blazer Vanes???
I am using a Quicktune 800 this year. I will probably switch next year to a drop away rest. The clearance trouble I may have is the fletching making contact with my strings at the slide. It is hard to believe they are only .6 as thatdoesn't seem anytaller than myQuickSpin fletchings... Thanks for the replies and I'll take measurements and see if they will work.

I have been using them about 2 yrs. now. I love them. Very tough little vanes and they fly great

I have the same arrows with blazers on them. They fly great, very happy with the performance.

RE: Blazer Vanes???
I'd go ahead and make the switch to a drop-away...plenty of time to get used to it before hunting season. Most are quick to set up. I am sure you'll get lots of suggestions, but I use the Muzzy Zero Effect and have experienced no problems with it at all. Best of luck!
