Looking throught the mug thread it is very blatantly
obvious we are portrayred wrongin the public eye.

We have a great group in the Bowhunting world and we are getting shafted by the media with the image that is portrayed to the non-hunting public.

With the execption of Quicksilver:D we have some great guys and girls. I wish there was a way we could interject our image on HNI to more of the non-hunting public. As long as we put a shirt on _dan, and Hunsucker we need those shiny guns of yours to sway the female vote in the midwest and the male vote in California;)

It's the same thing with the portrayal of conservatives (or white, Christian males) in the media.
We are all a bunch of stupid neanderthals.

Anyway, I would give up on the dream of fair portrayal of hunters (or gun owners) in the media.
The best we can do is project that locally (like GMMAT talking about "harvesting" them der deers. [8D]

hay hay hay... [:@].....CA aint that bad..........i wish it would be possible to let them see us for who we really are, but i find the biggest problem is just being mis informed about the facts about hunters and our responsibilities to other hunters and to our enviroment

Good points, but here in MI majority of hunters just want to kill some deer. The enviroment comes second, unless they are not seeing any deer.[&:]
