Sampling of some of the deer, here.

Just go these off my game cam.

The first is a good example of the size of our deer, here. This is a typical yearling doe.

Here's a "weirdo" that just showed up. Nice mass....but a funky start to his rack. No left eye guard......and some funky stuff going on.....

I saw a 2.5 yr old last year a few times that had a perfect right side....and a straight, kinda funky 1 or 2 point left. If this is him.....looks like he's going to have at least 3 on that left side, this year.

Also....ZERO fawns in 72 images. Hundreds (2) of images, so far.....and ONE fawn.

I went out last night and saw a doe STILL carrying and a fawn that was somehow out of spots? Those deer look about like mine. That's a pretty good size buck too. I haven't seen too many bucks on camera, mainly does. All the bucks I have seen pretty much have been in person.

The fawns may not have dropped yet, or they are too little to travel w/ the mommas.

See what I'm up against here, though, Ed? Gonna be hard to find mamas without babies in 64 days.

Cool shots, Cougs.

And before anyone jumps the gun.....here's a "typical 1.5 yr old at this time of year. I think this was just a couple of days ago.

here's a 1.5. Can't see him TOO well because I took this one myself.

Yeah Matt......It amazes people who aren't privy to the deer we see all the time. I have a "little" trouble now with differentiating a VERY healthy 1.5 with an average 2.5.....but it's the exception rather than the norm.

A 3.5 yr old deer (and older), here (and where you live) is quite evident to those of us who see them day in and day out. Anomolies, they are.
