HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sarah has landed a great position with a major firm in the area and we will be moving there July 25th!!! Selling my business and starting a new one when I get there. The bowhunting opportunities with elk , bears, mulies, whitetails, and just to live in the mountains; we have been wanting out of IA for sometime now. Looking for somehuntnet friends that like to bowhunt, ride harleys, drink in the breweries, and enjoy the fine CO restaurants.

Wow, what a change of surroundings that is going to be for your guys. Hope you guys find success up there, it is some beautiful country for sure. My wife and I were up there last summer for the annual balloon fest and it looks like the place is growing like so many places seem to be doing these days compared to when I was up doing pipeline construction a few years ago.
Good luck in the move, and just a thought, but I think you'll find the elk hunting very good up that way, but the whitetails are like ghosts, usually never seen in that area!

That's OK, seen and shot plenty of those. I see you are quite a ways east of us.

About 2.5 hours is all. We're out on the plains where the deer and antelope play!

Cool and not too far. We'll stay in contact and hopefully get to hunt together.

Been through there a few times, great country. Good luck to you both with the move and the new start.

Thanks BigJ12. We just got the news today and are walking on cloud 9. We both love CO's scenery, weather, and the lifestyle it offers.

Hard, good luck to you and Sarah. I am headed to Fort Collins C.O.here this weekend to visit family. Nice country down there around Steamboat too.

You just stepped into a whole new world of bowhunting, best of luck with all the game you can hunt.. Have fun!

Thanks shed. Life is an adventure. I have owned my business here in IA for 23 years. Ready for a new adventure and new game to pursue with a bow and arrow. I have heard that the area I am in has the largest elk herd in NA.

Nice man! Can't you just wait to use that wall tent in the mountains? Hope everything goes well.
