RE: Jeopardizing your bowhunting passion

I ride my ATV's, water toys, and built / drove demolition derby cars for years up to this year. Figured it was time for that one to go, had a lot of fun though..

It is a thought but I'm not living my life in a bubble. I do shoot my bow more than anything though.

I raced motocross for years, had a couple massive wipeouts at the end of my riding days and spent some time"off my feet"and haven't rode a dirtbike let alone race in around 4 years now.

Luckily none of the bigger crashes interfered with bow season.

I play D-1 college baseball. So far have been lucky to never have a major injury. Knock on wood.

Damn, keep that bike up on two wheels buddy. Glad you are OK. Most bike wrecks occur in the 1st 6 months of riding a bike is what the stats say. I ride, as you well know, and that is a risk we take to live our lives to the fullest. I actually think that my bike adds years to my life instead of taking them away as it is a great stress reliever.

anything we do is somewhat dangerous....cant live life in a bubble...

just today dad crushed my left thumb with a big log...he was throwing the logs out of the truck and i was stacking them...he wasnt looking and i was down picking up a log...SMACK...biggest log we had (14" thick and 18" long..not huge but big enough!) the edge of the log nailed my thumb finger and smashed it between another big log i was picking up...its hurtin...but thankfully isnt broke or seriously hurt...

anything can happen to anyone at anytime...thats life...
