I think an accomplished bowhunter is one who puts his time in scouting and can seal the deal whether he hunts all the time or hunts weekends...

You must posses a minimum skill, and pass on shots that you don't posess the skill to make. Other than that, bowhunting is mostly a solitary sport, and you don't have to prove a thing to anyone.

Guys one thing you wanna remember is keep the fun in it!! You can get so obsessed with Killing Big Bucks that you make a job out of it. I have been fortunate enough to kill a few P&Y animals, but I guarantee you I hunt for fun, and let everything else fall where it may;)
