I went today and found that the feild i am going to bowhunt has a huge crop of corn in it and the farmer probably wont pick it due to the fact that it wont make it due to our drought here. If so ill have an awesome bow season i need to get there and hang my hang on in the oak the deer funnel by and set up te camera.

With that many trees and heavy shade, I doubt there is too much that will grow there. The trees will suck the moisture out of the soil. And not much sunlight will reach the forest floor. Most food plot plants need plenty of sunshine.

That's really what I had thought but I've kinda always wanted to see what it would do in the woods. I figured since we are actually starting to get some rain that there is no better time than the present. I'm thinking some "Secret Spot" or "Hot Spot" would be the best suited. Also the majority of the mixture was "No Plow" which might do ok. The rest of the mixture is just purely expiramental.
