Bad news guys.....
 

yesterday my jack russel got ran over and it parlized her from her back down, and she cant walk, we think that it crushed her insides, but we are going to get someone to give her a shot tommrowand put her to sleep. It has not been 2 fun days for me. I am heartbroken, hopefully after a while get over it.......

I put my lab down the day after Christmas......and cried more from Thanksgiving 'til Christmas than I had in my whole life, combined.

Partner...I feel for you.....but if it's any help.....it's a very peaceful process. It's beautiful what you're doing for your dog. You'll understand what I mean.

Sorry to hear that, We have a 2yr old Jack Russel and it would be very hard to loose her.

I have been through this process once in my life and I don't think anyone can ever say it's an easy one. My childhood dog died at the age of 24 when I was 19. It was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. But trust me life will go one and you will find a new companion. Sorry for the loss.

Sorry for your loss. I do not know all your circumstances, but if possible, my advice would be; go out and get another one as soon as you feel you can. There is nothing better than a new puppy, to help you heal. Good luck!

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sorry for your pain you are going thru. I did it years back and although it is tough on you....they go peacefully with no pain anymore. I hated to see my boy in pain...so it was the best for such a loyal boy that he was.
