The PSE is back!!
Well I got back my PSE 2006 STL Primos back today and it is better than ever. They put on new strings, cables, cams, and limbs! All that is left from the origanl bow is the riser. I bought the bow last year as a special order that no one ever picked up. It had 60lbs limbs, which is not exaclty what I wanted but for the price I could not beat it. Well, all that to say it came back with 70lbs limbs and I am not complaining. I imagine some may have been a bit upset but to me.... BONUS! Oh yeah I also got a all bow hunting video. Yes a video (VHS) so i'll have to dig out the ol' tape player a check er' out. Now the sad part... I was quite excited, so I shoot a good bit and endind up tweaking the ol' shoulder. I think the combo of not shooting at all and the bit of extra pull wieght did me in.
I got the K.E equation firguured out. However I forgot to write it down so here are the ball parks 68lbs@ 30in. 456 grain arrow @ 268fps = 72.5 ish ft. lbs. K.E. which if i'm not mistaken should surfice for the good ol' US of A |
RE: The PSE is back!!
Congrats on getting the bow back.
I'd recommend shooting for a week or 2 at 62 or so lbs and then cranking the bow back up. When I took a layoff the 70# was rough. However, after a few weeks at a lighter weight to get hte muscles toned back up the 70#'s is no problem. |
