NAP Hellrazor Success thread

Who has used these to take game?

What kind of results did you see and how did they compare to other heads you have used?

Who has pictures of game they have taken with them?

I have used the NAP Thunderheads and Rocky Mnt Ironhead 125gr heads for as long as I have been hunting and could not be more impressed with their performance. Sadly the Ironhead 125 will no longer be made so I am looking for a replacement. I tried Montec heads last fall and took a small deer with them, the head performed well but I am not impressed by how soft the steel is. I am looking to replace the Ironheads with either the NAP Hellrazor or the new Stinger SS head. The sharpness of all NAP products I have used is steering me in that direction. Any information would be appreciated.

RE: NAP Hellrazor Success thread

I have compared the Montecs, the Snuffers and the HellRazors side by side. The Hellrazors are the sharpest out of the package, followed by the Montecs and then the Snuffers.I cannot, for the life of me, find out exactly what the Montecs are made of. I believe that the snuffers are acctually the hardest. I don't think the hellrazors are that hard either. I have taken 14 deer and 6 hogs with Montecs..and I am still on the same original 6....they resharpen fairly easily, but they have a fairly low amount of carbon in them from what I can tell.Still not a cake walk...Iprobably ought to have bought that G5 Diamond stone.
