Default String Leeches and MeanV2 CSS

My MeanV2 CSS arrived today and I fired 6 arrows with it installed. The sound deadening was noticable.

I did have one unusual result: Both of my string leeches came apart during this 6 arrow volley. The leeches are only one month old.

I am not expressing dissatisfaction with the CSS. I meant to remove my string leeches anyway but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this....? Is it a result of the sudden deceleration?

On a related note, I love my Mean V, but I would not advise people to remove their leeches (in my case it was factory Bowtechs) after installation. In my experience, having both will yield the quietest bow.

I removed mine and wished I had not (mine did not break or fall off).

Now I'm probably putting BoJax leeches back on.

I didn't notice any huge difference when I had the leeches in with the CSS. Other than I gained about 5 fps when I took them out. Now, remove the CSS and put the leeches back in....and its much louder. Wonder how I made due without it?

I removed my string dampeners on both Bowtechs without regret. The MeanV takes care of the dampening and without the string dampeners I gained some speed. It's quiet and a little faster, what more could I ask for?

My Bowtech hushkit leeches came apart pretty quick also. Then out of curiosity I weighed those funny lookin suckers. Would you believe they each weigh 25 grains? Yup pull those off a Bowtech string and you shave 50 grains off your string. I will relace them with a very small pc of cat wiskers for less than half the weight.

Two different bows...one CSS and one Vibekiller and haven't had that happen. Odd.

I also removed my leeches from my SB when I put on the CSS. It is a super quiet setup, and I get the most speed of it.
