ORIGINAL: GMMAT

Are you kidding????:D:D

SURE!!!!

That one is good but you gotta give me another that shows spread and brow tines from a different angle.......

He looks very symmetrical. Is this true?

Don't know if you know how to score, but I gave him the following guesstimates.

right beam - 17"
right G1 - 2"
right G2 - 9"
right G3 - 4
right H1 - 4"
right H2 - 3.25"
right H3 - 3"

Total - 42.25"

leftbeam - 17"
left G1 - 3"
left G2 - 8"
left G3 - 5"
left H1 - 4"
left H2 - 3.25"
left H3 - 3"

Total - 43.25"

I gave him 16" for spread. According to my guesses, he would end up at 101.5" My final guess would be between 100-105".

For comparison sakes, this is my personal best buck and he measured 89". Yours has longer G3's and browtines and is wider.

Now your last picture is making me double guess the length of that G2 on the left side, I may be an inch long on that guess. He is right around 100" though, that was a good guess on your part.

RJ....It really...in the end...doesn't matter to me (you know that). I'm as thrilled with him, now....as I was, then.....no matter what. I never put a tape on him.....and I might not. Like you....I just like to be able to look at them and tell. I did a LOT better than I thought I would on the field judging thread....until a BUNCH of people were second-guessing the numbers they purported!!:D

Thanks for playing!;)

Jeff, with your guesses on the number of 3.5+ year old deer around I'd have to think 1 or 2 will easily go over 100". The odds are definitely in your favor.

BTW, I also think your buck last year will go over 100".

GMMAT I tried to quickly score it with some software and got a 96.

Tex....Germ had him scored the same.

Would anyone be upset if I just said "He's around 100" and never put a tape on him?

GOOD!:D
