What are you thinking?
Just curious. After you have climbed into your stand and pulled up your bow/pack/ect., settle in and it's still dark enough you can not see for 30 min to an hour, what are you thinking about?

No, I just was wondering if anyone concentrates on the reason they are there form the time they reach there stand until they leave.

I'm thinking, every stinkin' sound I hear is a monster buck! I'm not kidding either. After the sun comes up, I'm okay. But while it's still dark, Ihave a huge lump in my throat, buck fever like you wouldn't believe,and every sound I hear is a monster buck!

May sound silly, but I am thinking of coons! I hate being in a tree with coons!! After that I am thinking if I was quite enough and just taking in the morning air. I love a sunrise in a woods.

I ususally (no lie) get a grin on my face from ear to ear.
There's not much I do that's any more special than THAT moment. I take it ALL in.
And Wash......I'm with you. It wouldn't be long 'til I took a 'lil nappy-poo.

I guess each day is different. Some days it's all about the moment, others my mind seems to wander from work, family, finances and God.
I do tend to hear every sound as a deer in the darkness as well. Kind of disappointing though when the light breaks and it was a opossum or a rabbit but, ocassionally a shadow steps out right under your tree and when that happens, you realize ITS DARK and BIGFOOT may exist......
