Bowhunting/Archery School or Training
 

Does anyone know of an archery/bowhunting class or training? Iread PSE used to do an archery class. I have taken the state sponsored advanced bowhunter class but specifically, I am interested im improving form and accuracy.

If u have the time, I've heard of a guy in Southern Ill. that goes by the name of Terry Wunderle. I read an article in F&S about him. He was a 2 time U.S. & World Champion Compound Bow Shooter. He now teaches bow hunters, pro-shop owners on that very subject, form. In fact, since reading the article, I've tried to follow the suggestions written in the article & have greatly improve since. Look him up if your serious about getting better. I heard the rate is about $250 for the weekend, w/other shooters. For personal lessons around $450, but don't take the prices for gospel. Just what I've heard.

For something a little more local . . . You might locate a nearby archery club. They will often times have instructional classes that are opento the public. Might even be free.

Or . . . check with a local Community College.

Remember, nothing replaces practice, practice, practice. However, classes will get you started with proper technique
