I found the answer on the site.
I was wrong. Want to know the answer without digging for it?

I use Firefox with no problem (maybe it is a network / blocking issue).

#10 and # 2 right behind that one. That is where I would probably be hunting.

Drum roll please................

The top stand is:

Stand 2, Photos 2 and 4 as well, they are the same
location just different levels of zoom.

90% of the deer come up that close trail from the
grass which hugs the East side of that group of trees.
They are bedding in those thickets below and the steep
elevation carries our scent above them until they hit
the top. By the time they reach us they usually can
not wind us.

Now, here are the other good stands, but nothing like
#2.

#3 is a close second. However the wind can effect this
stand so we put the stand very high around 25 feet.
The deer come in close and it's a tight shot. But we
usually kill one from there every opening week.

#4 is excellent when there are no acorns and only for
the first day or so. The deer that come to stand #4
are always resident deer that bed directly below that
stand. If you don't kill them on opening day, they
figure you out and never come back. The same is
largely true for the Eastern stands in the big food
plot but for whatever reason they don't seem to come
back to stand #4 until you give it a rest for at least
2 weeks. We will see deer from the big plot stands for
a few more days.

#5 Sucks. It's a 1 in 20 chance of shooting a deer on
that trail.

#6 is same as #5. It's very thick down there and this
is an area we hunt only when they are pressured, like
opening day of rifle.

#7 Actually, we've not had any luck at 7, even with
apples. Besides, you can poke out to 7 from stand 2
anyway. The shot is about 25 yards from that stand to
the West side of the apple tree. But the deer usually
head toward 2 anyway to eat in the plot.

#8 Good, but very dependent on the wind and is
difficult for the same reasons as #4.

#9 Never saw a deer go by there. We'd never hunt
there.

#10 OK, but actually you lose the plot traffic that
comes from the West to the East on that trail going
through the plot. You can't shoot the main plot trails
from that stand without taking a long shot. There's no
reason to hunt it when you have #2.

Thanks for participating

I still think 6 is good, even more now that they say its really thick. You'll get a buck cruising down wind scent checking that field.

i went with 8 even though the wind wasn't quite right.

rybo,

It doesn't ask about seeing the best deer, only getting a kill.
I still like 6 as well.

Well...I reckon I just got lucky. Just seemed good to me because everything sort of runs together in front of two. So did I kill the buck?

Well, all 2 years of my experience told me #6. With that many stands and a long season who cares if I don't score on 6?
