What would you hunt?
 

If you could hunt a different North American species of animal then is your normal hunting what would it be? What are your top 2-3 choices?
Remember where not talking about what you can afford just what you want. Also I had to group animals together for the pole due to lack of space.

My top choice would be Brown or Grizzly Bear, Moose, Elk.

elk or Caribou. caribou are my fav. animal, but elk are tuffer to hunt.

Remember The pole is set up for more then 1 choice. So pick 2 or 3 or what ever.

I wanna bow hunt elk so badly I can't stand it.......That's WAY high on my list of things to do before I leave this world. Caribou and hogs are on that list as well......Shoot, now that I think about it, there's not much I DON'T want to bowhunt.....[8D]

I chose:

1) Elk- I want to go on an elk hunt someday because of the challenge I think they would be and most of all the scenery/terrain.

2)Antelope-Hunting in wide would be a big challenge with a bow.

3)Moose- They are one of the deadliest animals during the rut and I think it would be a rush to get in bow range with an animal that size.

I would also love to go on a black bear hunt which I am planning on doing once I graduate college.

#1 would be elk. I just have a real fever to bow hunt monster bulls during the rut in the Gila National Forest of New Mexico. I guess being from the east coast the majesty of the Rocky mountains is as much of a draw as the elk hunting. #2 would be moose hunting deep in the interior of Alaska or the Yukon. Again the remoteness of the land and like the elk the active nature of the hunt with the calling during the rut. #3 would have to be Alaskan coastal brown bear with a bow, because you are never more alive than when you are closest to death!

I chose all the prey animals..... the bears and cat I would shoot, if I had the chance, but I desire -

#1 - elk
#2 - moose
#3 - Antelope
#4 - Caribou
#5 - Tie with the rest

elk, elk and elk. Hunted them tons but need my fix each year.2.5 months till opening day here. :)

Elk , hogs (I've tasted wild hog, boy is it good.) and Bear.
