the most important thing in my opinion is to get something that YOU like. not your buddy not your neighbor get something that your comfortable with and you can shoot well with...then its Practice Practice Practice
But still, I'm gonna be on the same comfort level with anything becuase this is my first bow. I'll shoot the same with any of them really.

Make a decision on whether you want to shoot with multiple pins (one for 20, 30, 40 yards) or a single pin adjustable then see what's out there. Don't get the cheapest sight you can find, you may find yourself needing to take a shot in low light conditions and not be able to see your pins because they aren't bright enough. If your bow is fast, I'd consider a single pin adjustable, set it at 25 yards for hunting and learn how high or low to hold it out to 30 yards. If the bow is a bit slower with alot of drop between 20 and 40 yards, multiple pins might be better for you.
