Well..........
I drew my bow back last night for the first itme since my injury, I did not draw an arrow though. Needless to say I could not shoot very many as my arm strength is not up to par yet....releasing a arrow might me be a different story.
Now the bad news...I have two lumps on my palm.....my theapist believes them to both be some sort of arrow pieces..... ![]() |
RE: Well..........
I'm glad to hear you are making progress. However, I wince every time I think about you. I asked about A/C/Cs and FMJs on here today thinking about replacing my Axis arrows. That switch may come sooner than I had planned. I hope you continue to heal well and quickly.

RE: Well..........
that stinks hopefully thay can remove those and get your strength back . I cringe every time i think of that injury [/align] |
RE: Well..........
Get well soon. My brother had and accident and he blew out some of his ribs and shoulder blade(something like that), and it's going to be a long road to get him back shooting.

RE: Well..........
I hope they get the debris out so you can heal up properly. Get well by the season opener, you have plenty of time.;)

RE: Well..........
Yeah your story isnt for the ones with weak stomachs. It makes me a little weary of shootinga bow, and I'd hate to think of what's going to go through your mind when you go to shooting agian. Hope you get recovered.

WOW, I remember those pics of your hand! Hope the rest of your recovery goes well. Can they get an MRI and tell if those lumps are a foreign object?
Good luck to you. |
RE: Well..........
OH man, that's right!! I forgot all about that.........(no offense)..........They gonna go in and get those pieces out?

RE: Well..........
I am hoping for a MRI to make sure they are pieces before they go back in. Will know more on tuesday...going to the orthopedic...would be her call as waht to do.
