Whohere uses Scent Lok or other clothing that covers your scent, and how do you find it to work for you?

Yes Joel, some use it and love it while others, like myself, couldn't care less about it. There's been just too many heated debates about the stuff and waaay too much forum space taken up, to be discussedmuch more. This is one of those "to each his own" subjects, IMHO.;)

Actually a lot of guys use it. Its just that this topic comes up quite often and can be VERY polarizing. Some swear by it while others say its a scam. If you do a search you could find a bunch of threads on scent loc.
For what its worth, I own one set of Scent-Lok coveralls. They were a gift from my wife. While I don't know if I believe the effectiveness of the odor trapping carbon, I know that it is a well made garment. I use it for that reason. When using it I make sure I follow the same scent control regimen I do when wearing non scent containing garments. I have a friend that won't hunt without the stuff. He swears he sees more and bigger deer now. He must leave them alone though, his results are no better!

i use it and believe it is "affective" not 100% but will positively eliminate "some" of your scent...........the question becomes are you willing to pay that price to help eliminate "some" of your scent....i did because anything that can give me an edge i am willing to try out.....

Do you think its worth buying for a young person on a budget, like myself?

RE: Scent lok

in my personal opinion i would say yes...........you can pick up some pants and a shirt..etc...on ebay perty cheap.......don't pay full price...i am young as well and don't have lots to spend....but ebay was the ticket for me.........do some research first as to what type of clothing you need,ie for hot weather, cold etc. then look for those items. if you are going to hunt in the hot weather make sure to get light gear., i usually just wear a base layer, but make sure if you are going to walk around with them on that you have a layer under that to help with the "sweat" some sort of wickening layer to keep from your sweat getting on the scent lok or blocker suit....either scent lok or scent blocker will work fine ( to eliminate "some" of your scent)...follow directions to the TEE....keep in scent lok bag and dry according to directions to make them have a long life span
