After looking again I think arrows is right. Looks like this guy was a fisherman too and knew that if he got further behind the pig it would look a lot bigger. Reminds me of us taking a picture of my buddy with a catfish strung up in a tree in the forground that made the catfish look like it was 6 feet long!

I call BS on this one, I have shot enough hogs with a rifle to know that a handgun bullet isn't going to drop a hog like that even withamagic bullet!

Well, honestly, I don't think this kid was shooting full blown .500 S&W loads. I think Dad probably loaded him up some low powered rounds. I am a full grown man, and I don't see me shooting that .500 (again) more than about 4 times before calling it a day...never mind 8, 10, or 16 (depending on which news source you cite).

I think the hog is real, and I think the story is real. The photos are real too, but they are using some pretty big relief between the kid and pig. I suspect that those .500 loads were down loaded so he could handle them...and from the looks of his shooting....he can't....well, he did get the job done..but thats a lot of lead, a lot more than he needed I would certainly think.
