When to buy a bow?????

When do the new model bows come out?

When do they drop the price on last years to get rid of them?

I want to go buy a new one tonight and considering I will be making a 20 year leap forward in technology, I know I will be just as happy with last years as I would be with the latest models.

Should I wait until after Christmas or will the prices have already dropped?

I have a nice 8 pointer that is waiting for me to get this bow!LOL

Right now is a great time to try to buy a Hoyt if that is what you're looking for. Since the new Hoyt cam and 1/2 are coming out for 2003, alot of shops are dropping prices on the 2002 models. For example, I was in a local shop last night. A 2002 Hoyt Ultr Tec that was regularly over $600 was marked down to $400 to make room for the new cam model.

slicendice I am not dedicated to any brand or model, I want a bow that feels good to me and shoots well at a reasonable price.

Do all bow companys release their new models at the same time?

Seriously Taz, Late spring/early summer is the time as lazyarcher indicates for new equipment. But, right after the holidays can be the cheapest.

Absolutely the BEST approach! LOL
