Fletching Jigs

What do you all think is the best fletching jig and why? Is any one jig that much better than the other? Why?

1) Bitzenburger

2) Strong magnet, idiot proof, very adjustable, very repeatable.

3) Yes

4) For all the above reasons.

Yep, pay the extra money. You get what you pay for. Most other jigs don't compare.

Bitz. They last forever, so buy used and save some bucks!

This should be a one sided thread! The Bitz is the ONLY way to go!

I've never used the Bitz, but I really can't see how it could get much easier than my Jo Jan fletcher. Its fletched a lot of arrows over the years because its actually my uncles. He doesn't shoot much anymore so he let me borrow it.

I just bought my first jig, a bitz a few weeks ago and really like it. Very well made and my purchase of it is directly related to those here suggesting it. Thanks.

I've owned the arizona ez-fletcher and the bitz. the ez-fletcher is very easy but it's plastic and gets clogged full of glue very quickly. getting fletching glue off plastic canbe tricky.

the bitz is perfect! little pricey, but worth every penny.

I'm giving my Jo-Jan away this weekend to a buddy that gave me a release. I'm replacing it with a Bitz. The JJ is good, the Bitz is much better.

I've responded to many posts over the years asking this exact same question... after trying one of the plastic knockoffs, I was decidely less than happy with it. I took it back to Bass Pro and traded it in on a Bitz; I've never looked back.
