Safety Harness

My son (14) will be bowhunting this year for the first time. Being the overprotective mom, I am wondering what you all think is the best safety harness out there. I have also heard people say that they can be dangerous if you do fall and are dangling, if you aren't strong enough to pull yourself up.

Thanks for your input, I want to make sure my son has a fun and safe experience this season!

RE: Safety Harness

The new style saftey straps are the only way to go, They are full body harness's and that is what they are for so you dont damage your insides by wearing just thebelt style the impact spreads out and keeps you up right. I weat the seat of the pants body harness but there are several out there that arevery good. Walt

Is there any special brand of full body harnness that is better? I have heard many talk about the HSS as being good. Thanks for the help!

RE: Safety Harness

You should only get him a full body harness type. I highly reccomend the Hunter Safety System and the Seat of the Pants safty harness. they are 2 of the best out there. Well worth every penny you pay for them.
