Ya know-I felt the same way a few years ago & then I started Bowhunting Hogs in the off season. Heading for Oklahoma in 2 weeks. Great fun & off season Bowhunt & other than the gas for the 14 hour drive pretty affordable. You should look into it-sure helps pass the time & actually, you can get hooked on it.

Wow Shed that is a bad weekend! Hope everyone recovers quickly, so you can post some details of that bear hunt! Within the next 2 years I'll get to chase one. I've hunted in Bear in PA but the closest we got is some fresh prints in the snow. I've seen 10-12in Deer seasons..0 during bear season.

I cant get anyone to come out and bear hunt with me anymore.... everyone wants to kill an elk! ..... maybe someday I can put you on one out here...

Shed33 in 96 I bear hunted in Northen MI, I got a tag and spent the summer baiting up a spot.

On my second night a Mom and 3 cubs came in. I was never so scared in my life. I have never applied since 96, I am a wuss:(.

After they left and I am 2 miles from no where I kept thinking "I bet these ain't the only bear in these woods" I was terrified of running into the sow and cubs on the way out.

I don't drink at all, but man I wanted one that night;) My buddy wants me to go to BC with him. He lives there and I keep turning him down I am such a wuss[&o]

Hey Germ,

I climbed over 20 feet up in a tree to get this one below out...he died up there and got wedged in a big split. I could have used your help..!

Man if I were you, I'd take your buddy from BC up on that offer. Great bears up there! Sows with cubscan be cantankerous old bags...especially when caught by surprise... I've had my share of run ins with them shed hunting.. had to bark the 44 mag over a few different sow's heads to get them to leave me alone..

hey GM.....what camo pattern is that????????

brother and i have been trying to resaerch the best camo patterns for where we hunt and yours being so "open" with the red and green may be very good...
