My bird's at the taxi.....

When we found the arrow from my Spring Jake......it was stuck in a deadfall that was on the ground behind where I shot him. I just unscrewed the arrow......and broke it off from the rest of the tree.

I brought the 4' piece home.....and the taxidermist is going to mount my bird, standing, on the deadfall. Should be nice.

What are guys paying for a turkey mount? Say a standing bird?

That should be a good mount! Post pics when you get it back!

I'll be curious to see how well it turns out.

Standing and flying birds at my taxi run $450 andstrutting and gobbling on roost birds will run $550

I really want a Gobbler mounted for my own trophy room but just can't find an Eastern that meets my criteria, which is a N.W.T.F record score of 70..... someday?

My taxi runs 450-550 depending. I get a discount...here's what I have thus far with 2 birds still at the taxi, my bird from last year (Full Strut) and I also dropped of my KS Rio...

Same bird in it's perch.

And then this one,

Same bird in it's perm spot.
