Great JOB Elk..I am Jealous.
GMMAT get it together for next year man..We can have the 1st annual HNI Bear Hunt. There are some good outfitters out there. I was trying to line it up for this year for me and 2 buds but they can't swing it that soon. |

Thanks for the kind words everyone, When it comes to chasing dreams, I learned a long time ago to just go do someting when I get the urge and not wait. I learned some hard life lessons early and know that if I don't do things today, tomorrow may never come or I may not have the health to hunt the way I do. I try to hunt everyday likes it could be my last......

Bear rug or mount??? Taxidermy bill just jumped again ;) what ya having the meat processed into? I just sent mine off for pepper sticks and brats.. |

I am going to make a rug from it. Beleive it or not the tool box was missing from this bear. It is a sow and is 5 feet 8 inches. I have not measured the skull yet as it is still in the hide. I am sending the skull to the beetle box. I don't know if it will make pope and young or not, but it does have a large skull. The bear was very solid and it should score halfway decent.
