2nd attempt at capping and cresting

OK, after going back and reading Greg/MOs instructions and FOLLOWING them this time, I have made another attempt. I need a new motor. I've tried two. One is too fast one is too slow. I'll try a variable speed next time. I put a rheostat on the fast motor but it didn't work, the motor didn't have enough windings for it to be effective. Anyway, here are the results. I hope they get better with experience. If not I go back to reflective tape wraps.

Dude, those look pretty darn SWEET to me. That's something I want to learn how to do, and in fact will be. We have all the stuff at the shop and my PRIMARY job there when we get busy is to build arrows. Nicely done, sir. Nicely done.

I think they turned out good. I like the looks of them better than the reflective tape wraps, and you got your own personal touch to every arrow. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Well, they look good from afar but far from good. Kinda like some of the gals I used to date.

nope they look good close up too, believe me. My nose was touching the screen[8D]. In all honesty, you have some great looking arrows there.

Congratulations! Those look better than the wraps to me as well... Like I wrote in the instructional thread, I'm a fan of taking a fine brush and "pinstriping" the color seperations; it really makes them "pop"and keeps the colors from bleeding over into one another...

Looks good, though! I agree with the above comments... there's a lot to be said for personalization.

looks good i to like the personal touch. Just a thought if you could have a gage for the color placement it would be good that way the banns are all in the same spot . One of your arrows the ban is in the fletching and the others are below I'm sure they will get better and better the more you do it.
