Muzzys or Slick Tricks poll?
 

I have shot muzzys BHs for about 5 yrs now thought about going to Slick Tricks.I hunt Whitetails only give meyour voteor ifanyone has shot both, would like to hear from you.

Both are outstanding b-heads. However, if pressed to pick just one then I'd opt for the Slic`k Trick Magnum 125

I have made my mind up it will be the MX-3 muzzy.

The mx5 is an 100 grain head , I dont think they offer it in 125 grain as of yet .

Why do a poll if you aren't going to give enough time for others to answer?

The MX3 and MX4 are both only availale in 100 grains.

The Slick Trick is the best broadhead made IMHO bar none.

I understand what you are saying but, I weighed the pros an cons an poll is still fairly close.

Muzzy MX-3 1 1/4 wide, .025 blade thickness, 3 blade
Slick tricks1 1/8 wide, .035 blade thickness, 4 blade

I think the BH width is what sold it.

I have taken every single deer with a Muzzy. They have worked so well for me I have no need to change a good thing. I am however going to take Greg/MO's advice and check out the Mx-3s. Either one will do the job your looking for.

If cutting surfacewas the criteria you should have chosen the Slick Tricks as it's cutting surface is nearly 25% greater than the 3 blade Muzzy.

A 1 1/8" four blade cuts a good bit more tissue than a 1 1/4" three blade.

Convert the broadheads to two blades anda 1.25" three blade MX3would have a 1.875 inch cutting width and a 1.125" four blade slick trickwould have a 2.25" cutting width.
