Default New land through good deed.

Last night while driving home from the lease I saw an older gentleman on the side of the road with a flat tire. It was obvious that he would have a hard time changing a tire so I stopped to help. While working on the tire change he asked me what I was doing out there and did I live nearby. I answered that I lived in Gun Barrel about 15 miles away and that I had been to my deer lease checking things out. He asked me how the hunting was on the place, etc. To shorten a long story I now have sole permission to bowhunt his 210 acre place that has not been hunted in 15 years. It is no further from my house than my lease is. I have not seen the place yet but it really sounds good. I'll go take a look soon and see what else I can do to help the landowner out. He tells me there are plenty of deer on the place. Good deeds can payoff in unexpected ways.

The good Samaritan.

GOOD story, tx. I'd say "Congratulations".....but it wouldn't be appropriate.

How about......just an "atta-boy" and a well-deserved "bonus".
