parralel limb design

I just recently shot a full line of mathews bows and I must say they are quite impressive. The one bow that stuck out for me was the switchback xt, it was extremely smooth, quiet, and had enough kinetic energy to pack a punch. Unfortunately mathews can also hit your bank acount just as hard. Any reviews on other bows with parralel limb design would be nice.

Salty,

I would dare say that a majority of the models on the market now are of the parallel limb design...or something very close to it. In the HNI bowhunting equipment review forum I think you will find many reviews on a variety of the more recent and popular models.

From your comments it sounds as if price is an issue (as it is for most of us). If it is then I would suggest checking out the Diamond lineup. They have several bows with either a parallel limb design or close to it in the $400-$500 range which may suit your needs. The Rapture, Justice and Triumph come to mind. I have shot/owned all three and must say that for the price they deliver excellent accuracy, speed and overall quality of construction.

I love my Switchback XT.... best bow I have ever owned... Having said that... My buddy had an older Bowtech Justice (Now Diamond). It was an awesome bow w/ parallel limb design. He uses it as a back up now and got himself a new Tribute.
