If you could give just ONE tip...??

I'm not very successful in the ways of killing whitetail bucks, so I'm in the tip receiving business, not giving......So.....

If you had to give just ONE tip to an aspiring buck killer what would it be? I know there are literally a million, but let's say you were bound and gagged or something, and were physically able to give only 1.....What would it be?

They do not like pressure, do not be in the area you wany to hunt after August no more than you have to be.

Great post. My "1" tip,

Spend as much time as you can hunting. Nearly every free chance should be spend in the woods. IMO, that'll increase your chance of success better than anything else.

Hunt Funnels, especially during the rut. When you incorporate all tips above, do so in the funnels.;)

Hunt the terrain, not the sign.

If the wind is wrong, no matter how much you want to hunt that stand......go somewhere else.

(Have productive stands for EVERY wind direction, it will prevent you from "Pushing it" at one of your other spots. Even a marginal stand on a perfect wind is a much better bet than your best stand on the wrong wind.
