Learn to get to and from your stand location without spooking deer. If you spook them going out the hunt is over, and all the confidence in the world can not help you

I knew there were a zillion good tips out there, and if everyone pooled together we could all but write a book. This is all good stuff, and I hope I'm not the only one learning something from this.

Hunt where the deer will be, not where you have seen them.... this seems to be a problem for alot of my buddies. They see a big deer sneak from a field into the woods while spotting one night and they instantly think that buck will do that same thing over and over! They usually spend most of their season's set-ups based on that one sighting and refuse to adjust to the deer. If you scout out a spot because you have seen a big buck in that area and you don't see anything after a few trips, learn to adjust and move around, eventually you will find "that spot" and everything will fall into place!
