eye dominance
I shoot right handed but i am left eye dominate and have trouble seeing the target at more than 20 yards and i was wondering if any one has tried the peep eliminator to fix this problem

RE: eye dominance
I'm like you, but don't have any problems seeing the target when I close my left eye.

RE: eye dominance
I'm in the same boat as far as left eye dominance and right eye shooting. I have 20/50 vision in my right eye and 20/15 in my left, so I would assume that I could be more accurate shooting left handed, but I hit my doe at 80 yards this year (with a firestick) within an inch of where I was aiming, so I'll stick for now.

RE: eye dominance
I'm in the same club.I cannot see past my nose with out (bifocals) glasses and really struggle to look through my peep. I close my left eye when I shoot. I have learned to keep it open until the deer is near my shooting lane and then I close it and wait. My problem is that I cannot see my arrow with my new bow because the arrows are flying so fast. I got a doe last year without being able to tell where I hit her. I heard the arrow....THWAP....I knew I nailed her! She fell about 50 yards away....I love my new bow!

RE: eye dominance
I am in the left eye dominant/right handed club and finally bit the bullet and switched to shooting a left handed bow last year. Boy, I should have done that years ago. It was a bit awkward at first being right handed in all but I am very happy with the switch.

RE: eye dominance
I'm left handed but right I dominent. Learned to shoot right handed a long time ago. It's better to learn to shoot with the dominent eye.

RE: eye dominance
I keep both eyes open for a full field of view.
