Hope its not in a tree. That can be a pain.

My Labrador retriever that I just put down at Christmas time showed me one time the importance of spraying down my arrows and bowbefore going into the woods. I did the same thing you did (lost an arrow) in some vegetation. She sniffed it right out.

THAT was the "other" lesson I learned that day.

Glad you got your arrow back.

Check the shaft well before shooting it again! Do the bend and listen test.

Wait a second, you sent your daughter and her boyfriend out into the woods behind your house alone? And they came back in 5 minutes? You must have some powerful influence to have put that much fear into him. Please tell me your secret in case there is a little girl in my future.;)

Oh, and congrats on finding the arrow. I've lost my share losing my concentration as well.

SUCCESS!!
My daughter's boyfriend came over a while ago, so I told him and my daughter that I'd givewhoever found it$10.00. Five minutes later, he called me. It was buried in a tree 40 yards behind the target and about 20 yards to the left. After deflecting off two fences and hitting a tree, the arrow is fine. I had to tweak the broadhead to get it to spin true again, but it's good to go. I'll say one thing... the kid's got good eyes.:D
Would his eyes have been that good for $5 ? ? ?

Good question, Ed. Probably not. These days, you can't get a seventeen year old to get up out of a chair for five dollars. I'm surprised that ten motivated them.:D

Was it the money or being alone with your daughter and getting paidfor it?
