Nebraska Double!
 

Well we headed out to Northern Missouri yesterday afternoon and met up with Jason our ediot/producer who was giving a outdoor prodcution class called Rack Focus Video School. Hung out with those guys for a while and met some real nice people, then we headed to NE. This morning was an awesome morning, there were birds everywhere goin crazy. Jeff and I both got birds pretty early. Jeff was tripple bearded.

Ty, Wes and I set up and i was doing my pre-hunt interview when i look out of the corner of my eye and see a big tom that just flew down and started strutting. I slowly crept back around to face him, got my bow and got ready. He stood there strutting and gobbling, but wouldnt budge. I was sitting there watchin him when i see this black dot out of my perifrial vison. I whispered to the guys "dont move, theres a tom right there." He walks by us at less then 10 yards and amazingly didnt bust us! He was locked onto the decoy coming in hard like the had a bone to pick. He strutted up next to the decoy facing away, i drew and setteled in. He did a full circle around the decoy and came around the right side facing me. I put one right through his chest. He jumped up, flopped, ran about thirty yards and crashed. The whole time that Tom was watching from about 100 yards. He continued to strutt and gobble and sit there, but he never would commit after whitnessing the murder! :DI couldnt be more happy, it was an awesome morning!

So now you have 2 birds in the freezer to pull out for pictures huh?

You guys are either way toooooooo good or way toooo lucky? I just haven't figured out which yet. Nice job on the double. And as usual great pictures too.

Its actually my second with it. I shot my second MO bird with itnot too long after i got it. So far i really like it. Its really quiet and shock free
