First Trip North

Well in 15 mins I am heaed to Curtisville MI to the Germ Family Cabin:D

My daughter and I will be going this will be her first trip North. I have it all planned out. We are going to eat dinner tonight at the place my Grampa and I ate when I was her age. YesI still remember what I ordered, Hot Dog, fries and glass of milk:) I will have the same tonight. We are going to scout and do some serious Morrel hunting:D

I hope she falls in love with the place like I did at age 6.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Nice Picks!!!!

I forgot my camera but we had good success. The blackmorels were out and we found a pile of them.

Hillary ran all over forest, so much so she took a nap on Saturday.

She wanted to stay the rest of the week:D I even found a skull of a buck that would gross over a 100'':) For Notthern MI that is a really good buck!!!

We ate like kings!!! We had Biscuits and Gravey, and scambled eggs with fresh Morels.

It was a great weekend. I help cousin setup a few stand for him.

hope ya have a great trip germ!! and hope she enjoys as well!

one thing im gunna miss if/when i say fairwell to this state is the camp trips with dad and the guys...hopefully im rollin in the bucks and can fly home just for them:D

got one coming up this weekend. i cant wait...they arent serious hunters...dad used to be..but not so much anymore...i finally got the weekend trips down to hunting and fishing seasons. i was planning to gobbler hunt...but i tagged my bird...maybe i'll do some fly fishin...but i doubt it...dont wanna take the only truck at camp, from camp all day. and the fall trips will hopefully be during bow season...and the winter trip is going to be during flintlock season. bout time they start taking my needs into consideration!! lol
