i bet bowhunting is awesome i dont use a bow i use rifles and shotguns but it must be challenging

I would advise you not to try it...unless you are planning on selling your gun and spending a lot more cash on hunting. uz when you bowhunt, you gotta have it all!

Youwill not want to do anything else but bow hunt by your 3rd year if you have any luck.

i never thought i would like it much more than gun hunting. i shoot my deer with a rifle mostly always within "bow range" but i got into it this fall.

its more addicting than crack. im looking forward to fall as much as i am tommarrows turkey hunt. great time to be in the woods...and just an awesome way to hunt...

I haven't used any type of firearm in 30 years , archery is the only way to hunt and by the way welcome to the forums.

I joined a club in 1956 & took my 1st Deer in 1958. This is my 51st year of Bowhunting biggame & have yet to buy a biggame gun tag.

3 years eh? This will be my second with the bow, still waiting on "the luck" part, and then I will see whether I give up guns. I'm kinda doubting it will happen.

But, my one bow experience, even though a miss, got my heart pumping more than gun hunting and looking through a scope at a nice buck. The doe was looking at me the entire time she was approaching (I think some early movement gave me away). She looked away just long enough for me to draw and by the time she got in range I was shaking and sweating so bad I missed. I'm looking forward to this season with the bow more than any other deer season. I guess that's why I'm posting on this stuff in May
