Team HB scores again in KS
 

Well Larry went out today again in KS and him and Ty pulled off their second bird in two days. One in Missouri, one in KS. He had this big tom come in with another tom and 6 hens. He shot the tom at 25 yards strutting. It jumped in the air, then landed back on the ground and started strutting again! Even though he made a good hit the first time he decided to shoot it again. This time he broke a leg and the turkey ran around a little then piled up in the corn field. Another great hunt for team HB!





I am headed out in the morning with a youth hunter trying to get him his first bird with a bow. Iput them to sleep tonight so hopefully everything will pay off in the morning! Ill keep you all posted.

You guys are on FIRE!...thought it was a done deal this morning with Matt/PA. I had him coming and talking, 2 hens in the field giving me hell if I even clucked and he'd pound. He just didn't want to stick his neck out. Matt said his barrel was shaking and he was already smiling for the camera...lol A hen went to him and walked him away. Great morning.

There are birds everywhere on my farm, i just saw three toms strutting with some hens. Im waiting for Shawn to get here and were off after 'em till 1!
