Glad you got it worked out....although I have never needed to contact CAP for anything, it's good to know they will stand behind their product.

Just so you know....in a pinch you could have used it without the plastic trim and it would have worked fine, yet another testament to how good a design it truely is.

The one that came on my bow is all metal and alot thicker than that as well. I have to go try to make some money now since I know Santa Clause won't be bringing anything for me this year.

I think most of us have used the "let the store deal with the manufacturer return" option, ecspecially in an emergency(like the middle of season). Just a way to cut through the hoop jumping, is it honest? Not so much, but the store will get reimbersed, eventually. If this was the worst thing I had ever done in my life I would be a saint(or a preacher). JJ PT.
