Contact CAP or take it back to where you bought it and get a new one..........no problem. If that doesn't work............

Buy a new one at a big chain store and return this one in that box the next day...........you'll be back in business within an hour and it won't cost you a dime.

Gotta do what ya gotta do to get back shooting as fast as possible during hunting season.

I ended up just going to Gander Mountain and buying the part. It only cost 18 bucks. I am pretty sure I never whacked it on anything but not 100% sure so I'm just going to eat the difference. Kind of wish they had made that part out of metal though!

In all seriousness.....I'd package the rest....send it to CAP with a note describing what happened.....and I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't send you a new one.

They're a solid company from what I've heard.

They make an all metal WB, someone posted a picture of the thing. Looked pretty tough.

I sent them an email explaining what happened and that it was only 4 months old I'm guessing the plastic had a weak point that didn't like vibration. I've got to get to work putting it back on and making sure it still shoots straight because I need to down a turkey!
