Question about vanes

I am curious what the advantages and disadvantages to feather vanes versus plastic vanes. I shoot plastics since they seem more durable and carry a bit more momentum, but probably arent as fast as feathers.

So what is the big differences? What do you shoot?

Post some pics of your arrows, I like checkin out the different color schemes and all

RE: Question about vanes

i shoot feathers because there lighter, and they don't tear up as much when target shooting

RE: Question about vanes

Im a feather fan , they stear an arrow better than any vane , are more durable , and are forgiving , the forgiving part is very important to me .
