Top heavy Commander.

I have tried alot of stabalisers on my new Commander and cant seem to get enough weight to keep the bow stable after the shot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

huh, need some info here - that bow is heavy enough to shoot w/outa stabilizer, so this isn't making a lot of sense.

I thought you were shotting it just fine Sunday at Lens,Al.I still think that if you use the combo I told you about that, you should get the weight you are looking for.By the way,Did you make the call?...Bob

find a doinker and give that a try. the weight is mostly out front...i only gained an ounce or 2 from going from a 5" shock blocker to a 7" doinker, but it did the trick..bow sits nicely after the shot..

I tend to agree to an exent. I found my Commander to be quite heavy and fairly well balanced. I tried to find a 6-7 inch stabilizer which weighed very little in order to get the balance correct for my personal preferences. In all honesty I do not remember the model as it turned out to be something generic from down at the shop. If you are visiting/shooting at Len's I am sure he has tons of stabilizers for you to try out to find the specific combo that works for you and your setup.

it really sounds like the toplimbs may be pulling a little extra weight- have you tried backing the toplimb boltout 1/8 turn at a time until it feels better?

Not sure if you've tried the "Wild Thing" from Diamond archery or not, but it was the only stab. that really felt "right" on my Guardian.
