What's the Actual Cost?

What do you guys think it really costs a company to manufacture 1 bow? I just got to thinking about this and didnt really have a guess. I know that they dont pay per bow but if they did what do you think it would be? Just some of the top notch bow guesses.

RE: What's the Actual Cost?

Roughly 25-35% of retail cost. The bow company makes a percentage and the dealer makes up the rest.

RE: What's the Actual Cost?

depends on a lot of things
size of the company and how many bows they make per year(the more you make the better deal you would get on the parts)
The quality of parts used
Whether the parts are made in house or out sourced
What they pay their employees.

I have no idea but I do know that several years ago markup was approximately 40% from dealer's cost to retail price on a particular brand.
