Gorilla is hard to beat, Ive used their King Kong lounger with awsome results. They do offer it with the XLS leveling system that works great also. They have a varietly of sizes and styles, seats are comfy and stands are top quality.

I have two loc - ons , one is a Gorilla Shilver back and one from Rivers Edge , I use the Gorilla more than the other for the simple reason the Gorilla has a bigger seat.

I agree...Gorilla stand are hard to beat. They make inexpensive stands that are great as well as some more pricy ones that are very light and portable.

Lone wolf stands in my opinion are the best there is. Very stable and supper light. So you can be very mobile if need be. Gorilla stands are also very nice.

Good Hunting

Anyone use the Chippewa Wedge-Loc? I know they are kind not as mainstream as others, but I have heard some good things about them.

If you don't use cost, Lone Wolf hands down. If cost is a factor, then their are several good stands available. Loggy Bayou makes a nice stand also.

How much did you pay for you're bow set-up? Now consider you are standing at considerable heights on a treestand that is holding you're life in it's hands. Now how much is you're life worth? My life is worth far more than $49.99 on-sale!

I have used just about every hang on on the market and must agree that the gorilla is the best I ever used. Its a little heavy to carry in but once your there its worth it it is comfortable enough that you can really hunt out of it all day. Now there is not too many stands yu can say that about.

For me Lone Wolf hands down! I don't care how expensive they are, when is comes to being safe I spare no cost! I also have a gorilla Climber thats OK, nothing special! The Lone Wolf is so easy to use I like it better than a climber!

I concur.

I bought the lone wolf last year....and was going to utilize it in lieu of a new climber (with the sticks). I could never figure out a way to climb safely without working up a helluva sweat. I sold it. It's also not the most corfortable sit I've used, by far. It's a solid stand.....but for an all-out lock on application...there's better (IMO).

I've used a gorilla for one season, now.....and a Summit Copperhead for the better part of 2 seasons. The Summit isWAY more comfortable than the LW OR the Gorilla....and the platform is larger. I haven't seen one I'd trade it for.
