Default A Texas Turkey Double...

Well I just returned from a weekend with some good friends down around Graham, Texas. We killed lots of pigs and everyone was killing birds except for me (I did more "videoing" and calling)... untilyesterday afternoonthat is . As the evening set in I began calling softly in an area that we knew the brids went through to go to roost. Not too long later a hen came looking for a friend and she had a big tom in tow. At 16 yards my axis arrow met it's mark and the bird expired shortly after. We got the hunt on video which was very cool. It was just a few minutes later when I mouthed out a couple of purrs and a gobbler sounded offnot too far away. A few short minutes later and I was a full draw again... completely undetected again with the camera rolling. The bird was in full strut when my second arrow drove itself home and the bird ran about 30 yards and expired.

It was a pretty sweet hunt and to get them both on video with one of my best friends was really cool. I also shot a pig the night before at 13 yards. Here are a few pics...
