Just for Fun
cuculate your bows fps into mph
formula is fps X 60=fpm (feet per minute) fpm X 60=fph (feet per hour) fph / 5280=mpm (miles per minute) mpm X 60=mph mine is 180mph |

RE: Just for Fun
I think I'm doing something wrong here:
274 fps x 60= 16,440 fpm 16,440 fpmx 60= 986,400 fph 986,400 fph/5280=186.18 (I assume this would be correct) If I do the final calculation I get: 186.18 x 60= 11,170.8 mph So either there are to many multiples of 60 in there or you guys have some slow bows.[&:] |
RE: Just for Fun
Yep. You've got it, Bry. Just drop the mpm x 60. Once you divide by 5280, that's it.

RE: Just for Fun
I'm with HuntingBry, it's miles per hour then it's 14277 Mph it it was miles per minute then it'd be the lower number of 207....
