No deer in this one, but I've always liked this sunset pic. Taken a few years ago in NW IL right after I missed a 140" buck that had come into my decoy. :D

I couldn't tell you where he is..... But I can certainly tell you where he isn't (on my wall) :D

I never even hunted that area last fall..... Not for lack of good deer there but ended up spending some time on Public Land instead. Crazy huh? [8D]

Thanks. Yep his summer coat was pretty light colored. His fall coat was not much darker. ;) :D

Absolutely Beautiful pictures, i cant wait to get back out in the woods. Michaelhunsucker, i couldnt be able to sleep knowing a buck like that droptine buck was running around in my woods. Have you had any close encounters with him? Actually who am i kidding, i wouldnt be able to sleep knowing any of the bucks you showed us were where i hunt. Best of luck this upcoming season.
